Survived By: He married Nettigene Norton on August 23, 1994 in Eureka Springs, AR. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include two daughters, Marcia Leo and husband Ron of Parkville, MO and Karen Waterland and husband Ken of Kansas City, MO; a step-son, Stan Weaver and wife Pam of Waterloo, IA; a step-daughter, Harriett Francis and husband Jeff of Columbia, MO; a brother, Leroy Linder and wife Linda of Lake Jackson, TX; six grandchildren and two great granddaughters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Reba and second wife, Della.
Affiliations: Emmett spent the majority of his working years at the former Parkville Hardware Store as an appliance serviceman. He was a member of the Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church in the Northland and former longtime member of the Parkville Presbyterian Church.

A memorial service celebrating Emmett’s life will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jim Gordon officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will be at East Slope Cemetery in Riverside, Mo. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church or Parkville Presbyterian Church and may be left in care of the Meyers Northland Chapel, 401 Main St. Parkville, MO 64152.
